Unsafe Consumer Products
The manufacturer of a product sold to the public has certain duties to those who might purchase and/or use the product. The manufacturer must design the properly—such that it is as safe to use as possible; the manufacturer must manufacturer the product properly; and the manufacturer must warn the public of any dangers of the product that might not be obvious. When a manufacturer fails to do any of these things, people get hurt, and the manufacturer might be held legally responsible for the harms suffered.
